World Cup Watch Party #1: Mexico vs South Africa

Baja Buddies gathered at Chiltepinos to watch Mexico open its World Cup campaign against South Africa. Diego and D'Marie arrived early to secure tables for the group, and before long, a sea of green, white, and red filled our corner of the restaurant.

The atmosphere was electric as Baja Buddies joined fellow fans in cheering on El Tri. Every scoring opportunity, save, and exciting play brought cheers from the crowd, creating a fun and spirited afternoon filled with national pride and shared excitement.

With Mexico earning a 2-0 victory, the celebration continued long after the final whistle. It was a fantastic kickoff to both Mexico's World Cup journey and a series of Baja Buddies watch parties that brought members together to share in the excitement of the world's biggest sporting event.
